Paw Coons is definitely a local hang out having a band stand in the restaurant. Its located on the Bayou and is very eclectic and funky! The fried shrimp sandwich was average at best.

Poor customer service, food was not worth the money spent, less food than expected, bland food, grilled shrimp was rubbery, and food portions are small. When calling the employer to let them know we were dissatisfied, we were told “oh well”.. he did offer to refund us, but obviously we still ate the food that we did pay for before contacting the restaurant, we just wanted to let them know our opinions. We will not be going back.

We hit this place every time we come down from Pa.. You can’t beat the authentic southern styled home cooking. The shrimp poboy is my favorite, and the hamburger steak is awesome. If your in the area, give them a shot. You won’t be disappointed.
