Paw Coons is definitely a local hang out having a band stand in the restaurant. Its located on the Bayou and is very eclectic and funky! The fried shrimp sandwich was average at best.
Awesome atmosphere. Awesome customer service. Food amazing. Down home Louisiana authenticity. If ur close Chauvin well worth the trip. Highly recommend. We ordered seafood platter and crab patty pooboy
We hit this place every time we come down from Pa.. You can’t beat the authentic southern styled home cooking. The shrimp poboy is my favorite, and the hamburger steak is awesome. If your in the area, give them a shot. You won’t be disappointed.
