Food is absolutely amazing. I went twice this week—once to treat my work team and then again on Sunday to take my wife. Seriously, this is how food should be done. Yes, I agree, it's not some fancy, newly decorated spot, but it is a comfortable and welcoming place with fantastic food that more than makes up for the lack of frills. If you prioritize incredible flavor and a good, solid meal, you need to go here.

Love this place. When I first walked in the door I saw a teenage boy with a bucket and towel cleaning the tables. I mean he was putting some elbow grease into what he was doing. Everyone there was so inviting and friendly. This place has some of the best hot water cornbread I've had in years. It was crispy light and fluffy at the same time. The rest of the food was amazing too. Everything I ate was seasoned perfectly. The beef tips were awesome. The cabbage was great. Real down home cooking for a great price. Please visit sometime.

Soul food after church is what this reminds me of. Absolute best soul food. Open 11 - 2 and closed on Monday. Look at attached menu.
The service was so down-home and friendly. The cabbage and green beans were spot-on. The hot water cornbread was a little packy but still good. The fried chicken could have been seasoned a little more but was delicious dipped in my green bean juice. The gravy was bland (typical cafe gravy). I'll definitely go back.
