The service was so down-home and friendly. The cabbage and green beans were spot-on. The hot water cornbread was a little packy but still good. The fried chicken could have been seasoned a little more but was delicious dipped in my green bean juice. The gravy was bland (typical cafe gravy). I'll definitely go back.
yal, this place is the real deal. From the time I entered the restaurant I was made to feel so welcome like I was at family diner. the food was good and large portions,good atmosphere, and the staff was friendly. well worth the drive From Rayville...See ya again.
