We just had a late lunch at Big J's Side Porch in Clinton and I wish I had taken photos of the plates before we devoured fried green tomatoes, bbq sausage, Mac n cheese (divine!), huge perfectly fried onion rings, creamy cole slaw that was the best blend of crunchy and not too vinegary nor sweet.
The seafood kickers were terrific & the staff was so friendly.

Nice little place to spend some time with the family. Nice shaded outdoor table set-up with a chill and cozy atmosphere. A lot of good choices on the menu, which includes BBQ, sandwiches, and of course burgers.
Speaking of burgers, the one I was served (pictured) was a chunky boy! Honestly one of the best I've had.. which is saying something considering I've had quite a few good burgers in my day. Will definetly be back to try other menu items. Especially their BBQ.
