I wish I’d read the reviews before I stopped at the Darrel’s in Colfax. Our chicken was tasteless, greasy, some not cooked all the way through and some cooked way too much. We love eating at Darrel’s in Tioga. But I will never go back to Colfax.

Called in and waited 30 minutes. I came in to get it and they gave my chicken away and made me wait 20 more minutes. They have horrible management and a inexperienced and young staff. Wouldn't order here unless you had too. Lived here for 30 years and it hasn't changed. Expect a rude staff and bad management unless the owner is there.

The service is so slow! If they would just tell you that it's going to be a 30 min wait when you call, that wouldn't be a big deal! But they ALWAYS tell you 15-20 mins. I wait that long just to leave my house! Then there's another 30 min wait once I get there! There's a 50/50 shot the people are nice. It's gone downhill in the past couple of years.
Very reliable food and service. It's good just needs the oil changed more often they are the only place in town!

I ordered shrimp and fries today and they was so salty that I couldn't eat it. I called them to let them know and when I arrived to receive my replacement the staff was so rude. One lady told me we'll we ate the shrimp and they was not salty to us, I told her they are salty to me and that's what matters and here is the whole plate back. I will never eat there again in Colfax
