Down Da Bayou Restaurant

My wife and I stopped in after leaving Abbie Lane retreat for a quick lunch. Everything we had was delicious, the servers were quick and friendly. We would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone.

The owners and people working there were very nice and some that you could just sit down and carry on a great conversation with. We will be back cause the food was fantastic. Can’t wait for crawfish season to start cause they sell live and boiled. Great steaks also. Thanks for being there.

We didn't get to eat there because we were too early. However, the lady that was there took the time to talk to us and explain their menu specials. We really appreciated her taking the time to make us feel welcome.

Our family enjoyed the food which was prepared excellently.
Really nice employees, helpful all the time. A great place to eat with your friends/family and happy that those of us who live in the Fairview area, have a nice sit down restaurant we can enjoy.

Parking: Offers it's handicap parking and even more so, close to the front entrance.

Kid-friendliness: Offer snacks, drinks and room to move about for the little ones. Also, the atmosphere was very nice. No problems.

Wheelchair accessibility: Thankful for a front door wheelchair accessible entrance. Makes this restaurant even more welcoming to a broader range of customers. Thank you!

Didn't really feel the product justified the price. The burger was great, the French fries were more plain and lackluster then McDonald's. And there was only one option of fries. Might be a lil while before I go back

I ordered the steak special tonight. You cannot beat the deal. Huge ribeye, cooked perfectly, twice baked potato, garlic bread and a side salad. The staff is also top notch!

We drove all the way from Fayetteville, Arkansas and were thrilled to find the best Cajun food at the best prices in the south at Down Da Bayou! This gem of a restaurant is a little out of the way for us, but we happened upon it during a trip back home and finding it was worth the journey! The food is fresh, hot, and out of this world delicious. The environment is charming, clean and inviting, and the owners are locals and amazing people. For lunch we had the combo with catfish and shrimp, and it was the best fried seafood I’ve had since I moved to the mountains five years ago. Portions are huge for the price and the coleslaw is the best I’ve ever eaten. They also make their own fresh chicken and pork cracklings and pork skins daily, and they’re as good as any you’ll find down south. There is a refrigerated section of the store where you can buy everything from stuffed portobello mushrooms, bacon wrapped and stuffed chicken and pork tenderloin, boudin and pepperjack eggrolls (and so much more!) to take and cook at home. We bought a little of everything, and every single thing was delicious! I absolutely can’t recommend this place highly enough!
