The food is horrible they will give you food that’s been sitiing up for hours and when you call and complain about it to the manager , the manager don’t even get on the phone but you can hear her in the back ground telling the co-worker that she don’t care it’s not her problem I should have checked my food before leaving , HORRIBLE !!!!!! Stopped in today at 5 pm. They were not busy at all. Placed an order for a lg double burger with fries and a drink. The drive thru person didn’t even bother to go over the order or ask if I wanted anything more. So when I drove up I asked her if she had my order right, only because she blew me off from the get go. Her answer was yes. Needless to say she didn’t. It was a SMALL burger single. I jumped down and told them my order was not correct! The same girl ( that took the order) handed that burger to someone else ( no gloves) , who went into a different room and basically threw on another patty. Walked to the counter and sat it there. The same SMALL burger I paid $12 for. As I walked away the started laughing 😡. At this point I decided I wanted my money back. They had no problem with this, and dismissed me again. We love the food here , and usually always have good service. But when you have a bunch of disrespectful kids left with no leadership it will continue to happen!!! I feel like an apology should have been granted with sincerity. Just horrible 😡

We stopped at PJ's to avoid fast food, but hopefully get a quick meal while traveling. The atmosphere and decor is so cute and unique. The food came out so fast and was hot and delicious. The gumbo was amazing and it actually had plenty of meat. The chicken salad was tasty and my husband's burger was good. Would go back! Great job PJ's!!

The food was outstanding, the service was ok. They weren't rude, but not exactly cheerful either. Neutral attitudes. Could have been a rough day, no judgements intended! We all have our days. I would totally recommend this place. I ordered a fried shrimp poboy, muffaletta, chicken tenders, regular fries, and sweet potato fries and it all was perfect. The shrimp was tender and the batter was crispy but not overly crispy. They were large shrimp, not skimpy bait shrimp. The seasoning on them couldn't have been better. The muffaletta was not dry and heavy, but not soggy either. It was tender and juicy, flavorful!! The sweet potato fries were delicious, crispy on outside and soft on the inside. Same with the regular fries.

My daughter brought me here on Tuesday, 11/4. I enjoyed it so much, I came back Friday, 11/7 with a friend. Delicious food, great atmosphere, clean, easy to find, can't wait to try something else from the menu. Forgot to take pictures. Worth the drive from Loreauville. I will be back!!

The place is adorable. The atmosphere is rustic and homely.
The service is okay. They're not rude but they don't offer any help with ordering if you're a first time customer. You order at the counter when you first walk in (deli style) but the menu on the wall doesn't offer many details and when you ask the person taking your order they will answer as fast as possible in order to move you along.
The burgers are advertised as fresh ground beef but it's very obviously a frozen patty. The texture and flavor are a dead give away. They barely season it and if you pay the upcharge for bacon, you'll only get a few shriveled half pieces that you can barely taste.
Chicken tenders were okay. They had good seasoning.
Fries are very bland standard fries that could use a bit more time in the grease to get a bit crispier.

We arrived on Sunday 8/17 around 11:30. I ordered fried shrimp with onion rings. The food came out quickly. The temperature was not even warm. I understand prepping for the Sunday rush. I was very disappointed. Another person at our table ordered a baked potato. His food was also cold.

Next time you think about eating PJs. Never buy the burgers they're trash. Pj grill just isn't the same anymore do better because your trash burgers are terrible. I should've just went to sonic because this ain't it. Overpriced trash aka PJ grill
