I went with a small group just as lunch started. It wasn’t as busy but our waitress BARELY checked on us. She sat us and asked what we wanted to drink. Afterwards we waited at least 10 minutes before another waiter came over and asked us what we wanted to drink and brought it to us. She went talk with plenty of the other patrons but ignored us. In the middle of us ordering she left to go tend to another patron. When we got our food after maybe 10 minutes of us enjoying it she asked if we needed boxes and brought some along with the check (we didn’t even ask for the check yet). We felt really rushed and as if we didn’t matter as customers. We will DEFINITELY not be coming back.

SO GOOD , STOP HERE !!!! I’m a TX girl and this was my first time here. Got the crawfish platter with corn nuggets($21)🤤🤤🤤 husband got the pork and gravy lunch special ($11). Will stop here every time I pass it from now on. I’m dancing and moaning this food is so good

I don’t know what’s better here the food or the service because they are both awesome. The food is absolutely delicious and the service is amazing you want for nothing but yet they aren’t annoying like some places. I can’t wait go there again.

This was my first time ever having seafood gumbo I only stopped at this place because I drive trucks and they had parking but I’m not sure if that’s how it was supposed to taste but the rue tasted burnt and it didn’t have any salt in it the crawfish was skimp the potato salad didn’t have a taste I had to add salt to that as well! The lady at the desk was nice I told her I’d never had it before and she said oh you will be back but it that’s how it taste then I’m definitely not coming back

Steaks was very uncooked and cold in the middle. Etouffee tasted old and re heated. Was giving 10 bucks off a 75$ bill. When only a bite of each steak was taking and one bite of etouffee. sides wasn’t even touched. Will not be returning hire some cooks who take pride in there work not just there for a check..
This place is exceptional. I can't believe I got this quality of food at a travel center. Food is cooked to perfextion. The waitress is nice and very friendly. Made sure I had everything I needed. What a treat I had today

Wife and I ordered the lunch special of the day and he brought only one entree. Had to wait for the second one to be cooked so we really couldn’t eat together. We ordered $9.00 cup of seafood gumbo and shrimp and corn soup and was charged $13.00 each. $75.00 later we just took our order to go. I didn’t say a thing, just won’t be returning. Harrell Guidry

Some of the food was good. Some showed to be under a heat lamp and was old. It took 1 hr 15 min to get the food. Normally this is really a good place. They did have a help needed sign. I would give them some time to get those spots filled first.
