“My wife and I have been eating here for 25 plus years. Always loved this place. However, they are now charging for refills ($2.00). In addition, I asked for a glass of water. They are now charging $2.49 for a glass of water. Refills are $2.00. They have increased the prices on the menu also. I can understand the increase in food prices but the beverage issue is over the top. Unfortunately, we won’t be eating there anytime soon.“

“We stumbled upon this establishment on our way to tour while on vacation. What a happy accident! We had tried a seafood restaurant the day before in the French quarter and left a bit disappointed thinking we wouldn't get the great dining experience we were hoping for while in New Orleans, but Restaurant des Familles more than provided. Everything we had was wonderful, not to mention the service was good and the views were lovely. So happy we stopped!“
