I finally went to La Fonda after seeing it for years in Delhi. I visit every couple years. The food was so good! The Torta was MASSIVE!

If I could give a ZERO OUT OF 10 I would! First place I go to and receive the worst experience ever ! Asked for a high chair and waitress said NO bc it would be in the way. And I asked for the house specialty and she said there is no house specialty. Instead of tipping I tipped the nice guy who watched over my dog while I wasted 90 dollars with the worst service :(

Torta was small and didn't come with enough condiments. The fries were the best food. The Mexican food lacked flavor, including the salsa. Service was polite, but slow.

I ordered a plate that was super hot I mean super spicy hot ? ? I'm a Mexican and I like hot spicy food but this was extremely hot. I asked the waitress and she stated they make plates fresh. The cook does not know about spices. I will never go there again. This was my forth time there in three weeks that I have been in Delhi, LA. kinda feel it was done intentionally.

Traveling through, we were 100% relying on the reviews to pick an eatery. One server for the entire restaurant, but she had a fantastic personality. The food was tragically disappointing. I really don't want to be mean, but my goodness this was the most tasteless Mexican food I have ever experienced. Maybe it's because I'm from Texas and other states don't do it like we do, but this was a new level of blandness I just wasn't expecting from the reviews I saw. Saw a few dead roaches when I went to the bathroom (at least they were dead). We will gladly keep driving next time :-/

First of all I’ll start by saying that when we got there we were waiting for 10 minutes for someone to come out and there was like two tables with customers only and then we ordered four horchatas and one Jamaica waters and the taste like they were from a week ago we left all of the waters there and not to even mention the food was nothing like it was supposed to be for it to be a “Mexican restaurant” I’m sorry but I’m a Mexican and this doesn’t taste nothing like Mexican sorry but very poor service don’t recommend it at all ?????
