I come from Missouri, where Cajun food is scarce and if you can find it, probably not too authentic. When I saw this place had shrimp Poboy and the reviews were fantastic, I decided this was the place. Service was great, Amy is a sweetheart. The shrimp Poboy, Boudin balls and corn nuggets could not have been any better. If I lived here, they would be getting my regular business!

Great homemade comfort everything and seafood. The onion rings and homemade steak finger were perfectly cooked and light crispy batter on both. Friendly service! Good yum catfish and hamburger steak with homemade mashed potatoes n' gravy hits the spot!

These ladies truly want to #exciteyourtastebuds I have not ordered anything that was not great! This fish basket was hot, crunchy outside, flaky and juicy inside, and more than enough to share. Then I added my new fave, boudin balls with a side of gravy. 10/10

My daughter and I have eaten here Saturday evening after a poor day of fishing. She had a mushroom Swiss burger and she said it was very delicious and I had a catfish basket which was off the chain. We had Boudin balls before we got our food and they were so good also. The young lady that took care of our service was very friendly. I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for good southern food.
We're visiting Poverty Point and decided to grab a bite from town. So glad we decided on Taste Buds and Suds. Generous portions. Burgers were delicious. Boudin balls were hitting. Everything tasted fresh. I highly recommend. Hope they're still open next time we come.

The corn nuggets are absolutely amazing, I want to eat these at every meal forever. The burger was also wonderful. Nachos are sports style with cheese sauce, not melted shredded cheese just so you know. Cottie was our server and she was an absolute pleasure. Thank you Cottie and the kitchen!
