This is the cafe' my father used to work at. I went back to feel his presence, I did. The place is kinda caught in a time Long since past, I guess that's what made it easy to feel him. I love those places where you can step back in time and know that it wasn't always like this, messed up.

I walk in at 4:40, first and last chance opens at 4. I was told they are quite open because the grill is still heating up and food orders will take 30-40 minutes. Giving how bad the service is the food must be worse

HORRIBLE!!! I have never experienced such horrible food in my life. I ordered the 16oz ribeye steak. The steak did not have any seasoning and it tasted like it was spoiled and my French fries were half cooked. I took only two bites of my steak and ate on a few fries and I was still charged for it. It made me sick to the stomach. HORRIBLE!!!!

The chicken parmesan was just a couple of chicken tenders with cheese thrown on top. Not very good at all.

It's okay. Food is good building is old and in need of alot of live. Service staff are nice.

"The Chance" is like stepping back in time, the food is excellent and different with a few home style favorites but the people make the difference. The staff were friendly, quick and are always smiling. There is always a crowd around the bar that are quick to engage you in a conversation and make you feel like a part of their community.
Ok food good service
Food was home cooked and delicious! Always worth stopping at a hole in the wall ? our waitress was knowledgeable, answered questions I didn't know I had and made our night! We are from plaquemine and will certainly be back!
