I have been having massive problems with the fast food in Donaldsonville. First Burger King, then Wendy's, now McDonald's. I took my 30 minute break from work on Thursday, drove to McDonald's, ordered a double cheeseburger with no pickle, no onions. I had to be back at work by 10:50am. 10:45am, I'm still sitting in the pick up parking spot #4 and I have no explanation why I'm sitting here this long waiting for fast food. I later went to go pick up my refund and it took them forever too. You can keep my money. My time is more valuable to me. Not only did this place take my entire lunch break, but I went back to work hungry after sitting in a McDonalds parking lot for 20 minutes. Only eat here if you have time, have patience, and aren't that hungry. Unreliable. Unprofessional. Not a single employee there has ever smiled at me. I will choose to drive over the river and patronize a different location, than to wind up this frustrated by a "fast" food company.

3/30/24Sat in the outside drive through lane for about 5-10 minutes while the inside lane has 3 cars come and go. Went inside the lobby was ignored/ not noticed for at least another 5-10 minutes. A gentleman named Stanley was waiting for his food and visible upset and mumbling and ready to leave. They did not tell him his food was already made and inside the pick up box.

I wish there was another spot to stop for breakfast on my way to work. Sometimes when i want breakfast I even drive out of my way to go to sunshine mc donalds instead.I sit here at 5:02 am and I already know it will be 10+ minutes before they take my order. I'm the only car here. I saw employees inside when I was driving up. I know they're here. . .I want my mcmuffin bad enough this morning though so I will wait. . .A second and third car have pulled up. Together we will wait. . .. . . other cars have given up. . .Waiting alone again now. . .Fourth car came and left, still I wait. It's a challenge now. I will get my sausage egg and cheese mcmuffin!! I just have to wait a bit longer. . .4th vehicle pulled off. . .I WIN!! OR DO I? ITS 5:25!Service at the window is pleasant. Same lady that's so often there when i stop. She's tired, stressed and with just her and the other dude. They're hiring. Trying to get people to come to work.If it weren't for this nice lady I'd be pissed right now.

It's probably the worst McDonald's I've ever been to. I got a 4D Crispy Chicken. It was crispy alright, so crispy "dry", I thought I would break a tooth. Fries were soggy. They are so short staffed that they were taking 4 orders thru the drive thru, filling those, then taking 4 more.
