Good food, yes most food is fried. My fries was fried NY style with no salt. I got shrimp, oysters, and catfish. The salad was good with French dressing.

Oh So Good! We spent the night in Donaldsonville on the way to a cruise in New Orleans. A good review led us to Tam's. We are so glad. We were skeptical when we drove up; no cars in the parking lot. But they were working on a stack of take-out orders. The inside is not very fancy, so most were getting orders to go as we did. The food was great! They have several Chinese entrees. But we got shrimp and catfish; comes with a bed of fried rice or fries. We also ordered small red beans and rice, and a small seafood gumbo. The small was about 16 ounces! Each of those was a meal itself. All the food was delicious and in very generous portions. A little ways (about 12 miles) off the interstate, but well worth the trip.

I got the 9 shrimp and 2 fish plate with fried rice. The shrimp were butterflied and seasoned excellently the fish were huge 2 very large catfish filets cooked perfectly and seasoned well.
