I love seeing the community grow. This is an honest review. I have traveled all around the world and know my interpretation of what a dish should be. First of all that bruschetta is not an actual bruschetta. I was served four pieces of bread covered in sauce, and the bread was soggy. The sauce was good. A simple fix is to toast your bread completely and put just enough of that sauce to cover the bread. You want that crunch of that bread with the sauce, not a soggy mess. The Caesar tasted like everything was store-bought. It’s not difficult to make your own Caesar dressing and homemade croutons. The croutons I got were thin and crispy. You Want a crouton that is big and toasted. The lettuce was romaine and chilled which was a plus. The red beans and rice were delicious with great flavor. That smash burgers were delicious and full of flavor, smashed potatoes were delicious and seasoned well. The 8oz Sirloin was cooked well. Crème brûlée tasted ok but in a cheap way. You can taste it was made with imitation vanilla extract and not whole vanilla bean or whole vanilla bean paste. Just some suggestions on how to tweak up the small stuff to make this place more successful.

Went here for the first time with my daughter and mom. You wait to be seated, but they are fast and friendly. The butter sauce was SO GOOD! Chicken cracklings were good. Personally I like a little less seasoning because of grit, but that's just me. We split the Maw maw's chicken skillet, which was phenomenal with it's mushrooms and chicken smothered in the butter sauce, and we each got an additional side, her rice pilaf and I got whipped potatoes. My daughter ate chicken cracklings and fries, which the fries tasted batter dipped because they were so crunchy and they had bigger pieces of sea salt which added to the texture. No complaints on the food. Service was great. Bthrooms are clean and they have a changing table, which was also new. We got so full, we didn't get dessert, but they looked great! The taste is bigger than the restaurant. We thought it was a 'mom-and-pop' restaurant, but the flavors were deep and surprising. Limited parking, but this place will out grow its space soon enough if it keeps the quality up! They mean it when they say 'Don't Worry. We'll Get You Fed.' If you leave hungry that's on you ?. We will definitely be coming back here when we're in the area.
Kid-friendliness: Staff was sweet with my 1 year old! They are limited on a kid's menu: fries with either lil burger, shrimp, or chicken tenders. But they looked good. Good high chairs. Changing table in the women's bathroom, not sure about men's.

My husband and I hardly ever go out to eat because most of the dining options in this area are mediocre at best. We visited Toddfather's tonight with a small group of friends and were blown away!! Everything we ordered was absolutely fantastic and cooked to perfection. Hillarie was top notch and took excellent care of us. We will definitely be back. Finally, an excellent dining experience, close to home!
First visit: We went here with family and each person got something different. Everything we ordered was so impressively cooked and presented. Management was very kind and down to earth, wait staff was attentive and accommodating (even taking our family picture), and we were seated and served promptly. I can’t wait to try everything on the menu. We will be coming back often. If you’re on the fence about eating here, let me make the decision easier. EAT HERE!
Second visit: On par with the previous visit. The service was attentive and outstanding (we stayed a while after finishing our food. Ordered a perfect bruschetta and the Duke hamburger which was incredible. Unfortunately I didn’t have enough room for dessert!

We had an amazing meal tonight for my husband's birthday. The food was exceptional and the service was top notch. The owner wished my husband a happy birthday and gave him an enormous, delicious brownie ala mode on the house. It was such a nice gesture. My husband helps everyone with everything and no one ever does anything for him. He was touched to have his favorite dessert and to be told Happy Birthday. Well done all the way around Toddfather's!

The food here is phenomenal. The service is equally as great. The atmosphere is simple and perfect for a laid back date night or family dinner. Tonight was our first time visiting and we will definitely return. My wife and I couldn’t help but noticing everyone else’s food and are excited to try other menu items. This is definitely a sleeper in the central Louisiana area.
