Very friendly and relaxing atmosphere. Food and cocktails are amazing. Staff is friendly and very professional. Definitely recommend.
We were looking forward to trying this place for our 11th anniversary tonight. No working website, and the facebook page doesn’t mention making reservations. Upon opening the door we stood for five minutes or so before someone came over and asked if she could help us, so we say table for 2 and she asks if we have reservations, of course we said no because having never been here before or seeing any info on their page regarding reservations we hadn’t made any, she says they’re...read full review

Roux 25 is a hidden gem located on Highway 25 between Covington and Folsom. Despite its unassuming exterior, this restaurant offers exceptional quality food with a small but flavorful menu. The large plates section may be limited, featuring items like fillet, burgers, and lasagna, but the small plates side offers a variety of delicious choices. Dishes like Arancini and crawfish crêpe, though more like a pancake, receive high praise for their taste. The noise level inside can be overwhelming, but the service is excellent. The staff are knowledgeable and provide great recommendations. The atmosphere is relaxed, making it a comfortable spot for diners. The food is fresh, tasty, and well-prepared, with favorites like seared red fish and goat cheese salad standing out. Desserts such as ice cream with peaches are highly recommended, and the coffee is a heavy dark roast that hits the spot. Overall, Roux 25 is a must-visit spot for a memorable dining experience with great drinks and layered flavors in each bite. Many guests consider it worth the price, especially when trying special entrees, and the ambiance, though loud, adds to the lively experience.
