Yesterday was our first time visiting. We are from out of town and wanted to NOT eat at a fast food chain for lunch after our appointments. I will be back. This place is excellent. Nothing fancy and simple food but well cooked. The chicken is good if not the best it's not bad and the sandwiches are great and I highly recommend the cheese burger. Stay away from the poboy as they just split one patty between the two halves but if you get it on a bun it's huge and pretty good. It won't win any competitions but it beats the fast food places. The service is excellent, friendly and courteous but the best thing is the price....
I stopped in with my husband and mom for a quick lunch. They both ordered the chicken liver plate and I ordered the two-piece fish plate. Everything was fried well. The fish was good. My husband and mom said the livers were great! Our Bill was $20 and some change and you can't beat that price with the current food costs!! The young man that took our order was very polite and the food came out in about 7 to 10 minutes. Quiet laid back environment.
