Best Southern Breakfast. Buttery Biscuit, bacon cook to perfection, grits and tomato gravy. Great food for small town Franklinton, Louisiana. Always love to go back here every year for their breakfast and Washington Parish Fair.

My girl and I stopped by sugar shack last night and got poboy and fish. We also got a king cake. Now, she is originally from New orleans. She's had king cakes all her life from randazzo to gambinos. She said the cake we got last night was the absolute best she's ever had. Compliments to the chef. The poboys were great as well and overflowing with shrimp & roast beef. Very large portions and great service all around! Thank you Mr John.
