When I tell you that every bite tasted like it was the first bite, this is probably the best chicken and waffles I’ve ever had! Fries were hot and I topped them off with their signature seasoning. *chefs kiss* It’s a very clean environment, super friendly staff, and they even have a section to host small events if you wanted to. 12/10 will come again!

I had some Lemon Pepper Wings that had me lost in the moment!! It is the first time I ever ate food that tasted better the more I ate it. It was so nostalgic. I felt like a kid at the fair I didn’t want the fun to end!!!

Cain Gang Chicken & Waffles is so delicious I had the Philly Cheese Steak meal, I tried the Shrimp and Grits which was amazingly delicious and then I took an 8 shrimp and 2 piece Catfish platter to my wifey
I've always seen the sign,but assumed it was just a chicken joint..Wrong!. They have a wide variety to choose from. I tried their shrimp and grits which came with a grilled cheese sandwich 🥲 so good. The Chef was friendly and his daughters were friendly and helpful as well. I also tried their double Bacon Cheeseburger the thick crispy Bacon on that burger was rediculously awesome. I can't believe how often I go to Ruston and have been literally 3 doors down from the Best food in Ruston in my opinion. My Brother got their cheese steak and onion rings. They have your usual drinks, but their cool aid was awesome. I'll definitely be back. You should beat me there. You'll be glad you did. They also have loyalty program as well.

My high school class celebrated our 40th thus past weekend and after church this weekend a few of us visited Cain Gang Chicken and Waffles and we were not disappointed. The food and atmosphere was great. Good food and fun goes together! If you have not visited please do.

I don't do reviews often, but this was without a doubt the best chicken and waffles and onion rings I've ever had. The owner both served me and cooked the food, which was made to order. When it came out, it was still steaming and it was definitely worth the wait. The chicken has unique battering and seasoning that brough me right back to home. The outside was deliciously crispy and yet the inside was some of the juiciest chicken I've ever had
The only problem I have, is that I didn't go in sooner. Definitely give this place a try.

Passing through town on business and always looking for a local place. Got the chicken and waffles. The chicken was seasoned and fried perfectly. Crispy, not greasy and the waffles were fluffy. Living in Louisiana, everyone thinks of Popeyes. I'd choose Cain Gang over Popeyes. Every. Day. Of. The. Week.
They were not busy when I went, so the food didn't take terribly long to come out. That said, it's fried chicken and served fresh, so just be patient. It's worth it.
