We did Valentine's dinner there tonight. The theme was Italian. I am an Italian from the Philadelphia area. I've struggled since moving down here to find quality Italian cuisine. I had the Chicken Marsala and Justin had the filet and risotto. It was on par with the greatest of Italian restaurants in Philadelphia! I love this little gem in Grand Cane! Thank you Rhonda and staff for one of the best Valentine's dinners we've ever had.

To go order was fantastic. I got burgers for my grands and they ate every bite. My daughter and I shared a burger too. It was so delish that next time I will get the whole burger for myself. The ladies here are wonderful!!

The dining spaces both inside and on the patio are small and intimate. The menu includes salads, sandwiches and burgers and seasonal home cooking specials. Dessert often comes with your meal and is always divine. Service is small town superb. They are generally open on trade days, pop up markets and theater nights. Stop by! You'll be glad ou did.

My sisters and I try to get together each month for dinner. We picked Village Cuisine tonight. The staff was friendly and service was great. Our meals were very good. We sat outdoors on the patio under an umbrella. It was very nice !

Food was really good, a bit of a “fancy” atmosphere inside so we chose outdoor dining since we had children to spare other patrons the “busyness” and “noise” of little ones. Kids played in the rocks and got accused of throwing them, which they were not... we aren’t cave people that let our kids run rampant and act wild. Now yes they were playing with them but that’s a far cry from throwing them especially after we just spent $60 and didn’t even get dessert that came with the special. Food was definitely good but would NOT bring kids... more of a date night or older crowd place.

This place is amazing! This is a sit down restaurant, not fast food. Do not confuse this place with the other restaurant in Grand Cane!! Village Cuisine doesn't serve anything fried! You should expect a normal wait time just like any other nice place. I think people forget that this is a small cafe. The owner, Rhonda, is also the chef and with multiple tables and to go orders to prepare there is occasionally a wait time. All of their menu items are made to order and Rhonda will always have the staff let customers know if there will be a longer wait time than expected so people can be aware if they have limited time. The staff is so wonderful and the atmosphere is perfect for a relaxing lunch where you don't feel rushed! The food is exquisite and the desserts are heavenly! I would recommend the BT sandwich that has crispy bacon and tomatoes on grilled sour dough or any of their fresh made salads! They are usually open for dinner 1 or 2 weekends a month and the filet steak with red wine reduction is perfection!! I've never had a more tender steak in my life! Village Cuisine is 100!
