Great food, great atmosphere, and good, friendly service. Mr. Brent and his family have a good thing going. Try their cake, burgers, home made chips and salads.

We drove over an hour today for Sunday lunch. 1145am we were there and already out of chicken and pork. Only 1 sausage n 3 ribs. Dirty rice tasted burned and bland and very greasy! Pork n beans and small potato salad were good. No slice of bread.
Table was dirty and had to ask for it to be cleaned, from dirty plate, silverware and drink glass.
Very disappointed this Time!

If we're in town we will be here on Sunday. If family is passing thru, send them here for a meal. Bbq plates are smackalicious. Always grab a piece of cake at the counter. You order at the register, take your number make your drink then patiently await your generous plate of deliciousness. Highly recommend, just try it, especially on Sundays!

Fried Porkchop special with red beans and rice, with some field peas and small salad. Superb lunch.

I had the porkloin special and it was amazing! Definitely worth the drive from Natchitoches!

Had lunch here with my family. We ordered sausage creole, smothered steak, and a grilled chicken salad. All the plate lunches came with salad and smothered green beans. The smothered green beans were extremely sweet and ruined my dish in my opinion. The sauce piquant on my sausage creole was also sweet, rendering my dish non-palatable. The smothered steak was just a beef stew with a tough cut. The chicken salad was a chopped iceberg. Service was good, atmosphere felt welcoming.

My husband and I had our wedding here in 2020! It was beautiful! Food was AMAZING and loved the staff! We now come back with our baby boy and our family for the occasional Sunday lunch! 10/10 would book another event with them for any milestone.
