My first trip there, and I was a bit disappointed. I was served an ice latte in a plastic cup even though I was not taking it to go (and the girl knew that.) I ordered a bagel and was handed a bagel on a plate, no cream cheese, honey, nothing. I asked for some honey and was given about a teaspoon of honey in a small plastic cup. No silverware. No napkin. I had to ask for each little thing. I was very disappointed. I had been looking forward to visiting this place. Not sure I'll be back.

Excellent spot offering a variety of coffee drinks with unique twist, as well as a thorough breakfast and lunch menu. I love the retail side that includes local groceries and local crafts. The staff is extremely friendly and it's really obvious that they care about the quality of the food. please go to keep this place open!

Another great lunch with dessert at The Hive Market. Locally sourced ingredients and everything is made with love. The Hive Cheesecake is the bomb! Sweet potato bread pudding, blueberry snoball with sweet cream is high on the list too. The chicken salad is excellent. You can taste the freshness in everything made.

The Hive Market is such a cute, charming place. The vanilla ice latte was absolutely fabulous even though it’s quite a drive out of town from Lafayette , it is worth it! Great drinks, great pastries, great atmosphere ! 10/10 I will definitely be back again :)
