Our family came to grand isle as a vacation and this was an awesome meal. Our waiter was nice, fast and got our orders correct, and the appetizers were awesome, especially the oysters. I got the crawfish pasta and it was awesome. Would definitely recommend

Poor customer service. Arrived at 8 PM waited a half hour then was told they would not be seating anyone else. Their closing time is advertised as 10pm.

Ok. Almost walked out due to the wait. Restaurant is short staffed and only 2 waiters doing all the work. Not sure about the kitchen staff. The wait was long to be seated which was discouraging looking at empty tables. I’m glad we stayed. Appetizer was Calamari. They actually served the best part. The heads. I had the blackened snapper with crawfish topping. Very good. We also had the crab cakes which was very very good. I’m glad we waiting around. Hopefully they can get some more help in the dining room. I’ll come back.

This place is very unprofessional. People understand that you may be short staffed but the attitude that we were greeted with was completely unnecessary. When a place says that they close for 10 you would think that showing up at 8:30 would be no problem but that was not the case. They had a line of people out of the door but everyone was willing to wait and see how long of a wait it would be to be seated except we were greeted with a worker coming outside and saying that after us no other people would be taken because of being short staffed. He also stated that they didn't plan on taking anyone else because of it and that is why the lights were turned off outside (like we were supposed to know that) even tho the OPEN signs were still on. Despite all of this we still were going to give it a go until we were seated and the menus were basically thrown at us at which point we decided to just get up and leave. With this being said hopefully no other people had to deal with the attitude and rudeness of this employee like we did. After all of that we decided to bring our business somewhere else where it is actually appreciated.

my sister and I came to the island for her birthday and ate at the lighthouse. our server, Tony was the only one working other than cook. he was swamped! he was so amazing tho. he kept apologizing and we told him not to worry. food was good, but Tony was awesome.

My least favorite place to dine in a month on the island. The short summery... nice efficient wait staff, building has seen its better days, and the food is sub par when compared to the surrounding restaurants. Once was enough.

I will say that I called ahead to see if they had oysters on the half shell and she told me they had a dozen and a half, and reserved a dozen (I'd asked for the entire dozen and a half) for us. When the other table that ce in rejected the other half dozen, we got those too. Beyond that, the food was medicare and their seafood platter done blackened is rather small. Our waitress did her job, but not much personality, I wish we'd gotten the waiter for the table next to us. Good for a quick bite, but not the best.

This is our first time visiting Grand Isle. We were told this was the best restaurant to try out! We got in late so just ordered it to go! Wow!! The food was amazing and the prices were very reasonable! 2 lobster tails for $26 you can’t beat and they were good size! The crab cake was amazing! The shrimp amazing! They did forget my shrimp cocktail with this order but included the cocktail sauce which wasn’t great, but I will be eating there again 100% while I am here this week! It was so good I might actually eat there several times hahaha! Definitely recommend!!! 5 stars for sure!!
