I've tried different items on the menu. I have yet to be disappointed. The plate lunches have generous portions and will take you back to grandma's kitchen. There is a bar area open to the diners, so you may hear adult language from time to time but it is not likely to be rude or hurtful to anyone, just some 'ol boys busting each others chops. Now I am thinking about what I want to try on my next visit.

We were visiting family nearby and chose Cafe Veiller for lunch. We had shrimp Po boys, hamburger, Cajun Cheese steak, and some onion rings. Everything was very delicious. Service was quick and staff was awesome. Would recommend.

Was going into the dollar general next door and saw the poor delivery driver trying to back in off the street to get to their back door. The driver was waiting for some young ladies to move their car so he had to wait on the street. What I assume is the owner came out, beer in hand, to yell at the driver to get out of the street. They weren't even open and the truck wasn't on his property, so I don't see why he was so mad. The truck drivers wife was helping him back and the man just stayed out there stareing at them the whole time. She got so upset she was crying because he was so rude to them. Truckers have it hard enough without rude people coming and bothering them.
