We forgot snacks on our wildlife refuge adventure and found this place along our way. The children ordered burgers I’m not sure they tasted, and we ordered the fried chicken. It may have been the best fried chicken I’ve ever eaten. Typically I wouldn’t say I like the breast, but even that was deliciously mouth-melting. We would come back for the fried chicken.
We were down for the Chicken Run/Mardi Gras Parade and stopped here for supper. The crawfish were the best we have ever had. They were also HUGE for this time of year. The service was was superb and the atmosphere was so welcoming.
What a wonderful experience! The food, the atmosphere, and the people made my visit one of the most pleasant and satisfying restaurant experiences I have ever had! Special thanks to Jamie for teaching me so much about Gueydan and north-of-I-10 vs. south-of-I-10, and for just being so nice to me during my all too brief visit.
