Hotel tried to recommend a different restaurant but I'm glad we decided on the Crazy Cajun! They had what I was looking for...fried crawfish tails and crawfish etouffee. Great restaurant. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Some of our members had never eaten Cajun food before. Food was really good. We arrived around 5 pm and had no problems being seated. Started filling up as we were leaving.

Somewhat off the beaten path though totally worth it if you’re looking for authentic, local, creole food! Outstanding, friendly service. Hot, fresh and boldly flavored fish, shrimp, crawfish, etouffee and boudin. Wow.

Delicious fried catfish. I had catfish, onion rings and slaw. All where very tasty and delicious. Hush puppies was good too. I had a cup of their chicken gumbo it was pretty good also. Hiden gem off the beaten track but worth the drive to get there. Good job guys and gals.

Terrible service, mediorce food, filthy foor. It took 40+ minutes to receive our food. Stay away. Server didn't come back to check on us within those 40+ minutes.

Was in Pineville, La. on business and wanted to try someplace local. Crazy Cajun was recommended. Good Call! Had grilled blackened fish and shrimp! Huge portion of fish, outstanding flavor, excellent slaw! Definitely recommend it, and will be back if I'm ever in the area again. Reasonable prices and good service also!
Excellent food in general. Have not had a bad meal over these many years. Our favorites are fried catfish/shrimp platter and/or grilled shrimp salad. Takeout orders ready on time. Quantity great

This hidden gem is a favorite. It's easier to find now that they have a sign! Delicious Louisiana seafood in a classic no-frills setting. The building was obviously a fast food restaurant in a former life. Prices are reasonable and food is generally great. I'm very picky about hushpuppies and love theirs with the hint of corn inside. Don't bother with desserts...they are overpriced and underwhelming, especially compared to the great food in other categories. I ordered beignets and didn't eat half of them. They were overdone (on the edge of being burned) and very skimpy on the powdered sugar.

Everything was amazing! Boiled shrimp, fried catfish, gumbo, oysters, etoufee and more. The food was full of flavor and the service was incredible! Amber kept the food coming and our glasses full the entire time. Anthony made us feel right at home. We will be back again and again. We plan to return before we leave the Tioga/Alexandria area. You owe it to yourself to check this place out.
