Stopped by Applebee's in Hammond for 1st time. There was only 1 other couple in the restaurant when we were there around 3 pm. We ordered the 2 for $30 entrees. I had the Three cheese chicken with penna pasta. My husband had the Blackened Shrimp Fettuccine. You also get an appetitizer with the deal..we chose spinach and artichoke dip. Honestly, the dip was the best part of the meal!! When our meals were brought out... my Chicken Penne pasta was barely warm! It was covered in COLD diced tomatoes....which tasted soured. The cold dish and the cold tomatoes...chilled everything down. My husband's Shrimp Fettuccine ... ehhh...shrimp were good...BUT the pasta was so gummy and not good at all. Server never came around to check on our meals. When Server brought out our ticket I asked to speak to a manager. Chris, Mgr, came to our table. I explained the unsatisfactory food that we tried to eat. He offered to get us dessert. No, TY! Mgr took about $10 off our ticket. Another disappointing meal!

Our waitress, Taylor, was very efficient, attentive, and sweet! A booth next to us was fairly difficult, but she handled the situation so professionally!!!

Horrible! First out of ribeyes then a trio came in loud and obnoxious. Started trying to get the bar tenders attention while I was in the middle of my re-order after finding out they were out of the ribeyes. Didn't finish our appetizer or drinks and just left. I wont go back.

Food was cooked great! Kudos to the chef!! Our server Joshua on the other hand was quite the opposite. He ordered my wife the wrong dish, and upon arrival never came back to check on us until I had to wave him down. Not to mention hearing the family in the booth in front of me, and the couple in the booth behind me both complaining about his service, along with the couple, whom walked in behind us who left before they even got their food. What would Ramsey do...?

The orders were switched when brought out to the table. My condiments were on my wife’s burger and vice versa. To remedy the problem our waitress brought me a refrigerator cold saucer of beacon. It complimented the now cold burger perfectly. Nothing was done to remedy my wife’s wrong order. And to top the night off the lady in the booth behind us thoroughly explained to the manager how she would never be back. I share her plans. I can see this place having another name atop it eventually, or at least this is what should happen.

Joshua was not very friendly. He never smiled, he sat our drinks down without a word, sat our food down without a word, didn't check on us not one time, didn't ask if I needed a refill, didn't ask if the food was ok.
We had to ask for the check, he gave it to us and walked away, not a word.
We usually tip $20-$60 depending on service. Yes we even tip that type of tip at applebees ..... sadly for the first time in my life we left NO TIP AT ALL.
Food: we had a chicken sandwich and Buffalo wings w/Caesar salad.
Sandwich was nothing to write home about. It's a flat patty light in color with a slice of cheese that was not melted. The boneless wings were as per usual, sauced up slight crunch, Caesar salad was ....a salad..
Steak was decent. Little tough on the chew but good flavor. Ribs were good and had a good flavor from what my father told me. Service was great attentive and checked on.
