My wife and I drove to Hammond from Baton Rouge to meet my brother-in-law at B and J Seafood to have lunch together last Tuesday and they were closed even with Google and their sign saying were open. With no explanation post any where we saw. It is upsetting to drive there and find them closed. It was no a loss, we went to Don Seafood and had an excellent lunch, I'll just to Don Seafood next time. 7-30-2025 They are still closed and Google shows that they are open

My brother just recently purchased right at 500# to boil for his customer appreciation event and there were only a few dead crawfish. Purchased in Hammond, La and delivered to Edwards, Ms. over 2 hours away. Everyone was very pleased! We have never had a bad deal with B & J. Thank you for your high quality seafood.

From out of town for a graduation and my mom was on the hunt for some soft shell crab. We found that the seafood market had them so I thought we would give them a try. The food was amazing and the price was very good. You got way more food than you could eat. The waitress was amazing although it took a while for our food to come out and several people had their food and left before we got ours. We did return the next day to load up on some softshell crabs to take home. I would highly recommend and will drive the two hours just to eat there again

I highly recommend B&J Seafood merely due to our customer service. We picked up crawfish this morning and had an issue with many dead crawfish within the sack. After calling the store, they asked us to return the crawfish to the location with the sack. Shelley and the team went above and beyond to give us a fresh sack of crawfish and make the situation right, no questions asked. In addition, due to the inconvenience, they even provided us with an additional 10 pounds of crawfish.
This is one of the many reasons why I don’t mind paying a little higher price point for the best customer experience.
My team teacher and I brought our students from Ponchatoula High here for lunch during their Community Based Instruction outing. I’ve always supported B&J, but this was my 1st time bringing my students. The staff was nothing short of amazing. They were so accommodating and the food was DELICIOUS! Thank you B&J for having us and we will be back!

This was a local recommendation on our recent Louisiana trip! If we were local, we'd be in here for fresh seafood all the time! Even though it wasn't lunch time, the place was packed with people picking up food to go. We both ordered oyster platters, which were fresh and perfectly fried. Salad was fresh and crisp too. Only come to eat here you're hungry cause that was a LOAD of yumminess!
