I visit often just for the cinnamon rolls alone! They’re so yummy any time of the day. It’s a very cute, family-friendly bakery with seating if you want to sit and enjoy. The service is really good too. The staff is always friendly and welcoming.

The treats have a wonderful flavor. The reason I can't give 5 stars is the level of sweetness in the icings for cookies and cake slices. The hard shell icing on pop tarts. They are overly sweet. If it was dialed back a bit they would be perfect.
decent would I go again i doubt it. priced well but my cupcake was indeed dry, so was my s’mores cookie, the chocolate chip cookie was pretty good was dry but would eat again if offered. wouldn’t go out of my way again drove an hour for the cookies but wouldn’t again maybe if i’m in the neighborhood and seen smth good on the menu. other then that dry and not really what i expected. I may stop by another day with my son tho means he loves anything desert and let him try some it definitely seems like a good place to bring your little ones for a little mommy and me time
and to mention the employees really seems to just not even like their job no smiles nun didn’t even really talk to me just store there till i said smth and then rung it up asked if i needed a napkin or fork and that’s it. no hi no hello no have a good day no smile made me not feel welcome at all

This place smells Heavenly as soon as you walk in. It's such a cute little spot! I have been there twice and had the regular brownie and a wedding cake cupcake. Brownies are amazing (soft and chewy/fudgy), and the cupcake was very good also (loved the fluffy, velvety texture).
My favorite bakery! Everything is so delicious and fresh. You get hit by the smell of baking cookies and frosting the moment you enter, and the place is very clean. I honestly find the prices to be very reasonable; you're not only paying for the quality, but also supporting a local, woman-run business. Highly recommend. The cream cheese brownie is my favorite!

I have waited a long time to write this review. We have been to Batter at least 25 times since they first opened and given them a fair shake before coming to this conclusion about this business. This is a hit or miss bakery. We have bought and tried everything they make here and out of the 25 times it’s a toss up on whether it will be good or not. You will either walk in and get the best cookie/pastry you have ever eaten and want to tell your friends about it OR you will feel like you just ate a bland tasteless cookie/pastry with no sugar and want your money back. When Batter is good it’s GOOD! But when it’s bad it’s BAD. I hope this owner takes this construction criticism and can work out the kinks but for us I believe it has been our last visit to this business unless I’m feeling like a gambling man and want to press my luck in the future.

My daughter saw the viral TikTok videos from the Batter owner, so when we pass through Hammond, we had to go and check it out. Batter did not disappoint! The Apple caramel pop tart felt like a natural, non-processed pop tart can exist and be delicious. So many times I want to grab a box of cinnamon pop tarts off the shelf and remember that they're made with garbage ingredients so this revived my faith in the pop tart world! The crème brûlée cookie was also amazing!

We visited from another state and came across this awesome bakery after searching desserts near Hammond. Every single day for 5 days straight, we purchased different cupcakes, cookies, petit four, and brownies. Every item was decadent, moist, and filled our sugar craving. The staff was awesome and super friendly as well. Closed on Sundays on the day we're leaving so we ended up buying more on Saturday. One of our favorite spots along with Luma coffee next door.

I have been wanting to come here for over a year, and upon walking in I was not disappointed at all. I wanted to order everything, it was soooo hard making my mind up on which treat to choose lol. I finally went with the strawberry cream filled cookie and it was delicious 🤤 I already want to go back to try more things !!!!!
