An amazing, family-owned custard shop in downtown Hammond! I was eager to stop in after hearing rave reviews and I was blown away. We got the blond monster (vanilla Oreo cookie chunks and cookie dough pieces with vanilla custard) concrete and a blueberry cheesecake concrete and wow! Both were full of crumbles and blueberries, so much more than other ice cream spots. We both ordered small and had enough for two servings. Definitely order smaller than your eyes as servings are HUGE!...
Pretty small in the inside but does offer drive thru as well as outdoor seating. It gives the feel of an old dive bar which i absolutely love. Orders get put in and made very quickly. Overall great experience. The only reason I can't give it a full five stars is because one the bench seating was extremely dirty which brings down your appeal, and two because there isn't a public restroom which to me should be something that is required for a place that sells dairy products....
Fun place for custard. They did have a parking lot and there is a small place to eat inside if you want to eat there. We saw a lot of people come in and get custard to go. The servers have great recommendations and are very friendly. The custard was good.
