i used to be a server here until yesterday. DO NOT EAT HERE!!! i quit when the regional manager tried to force me to scrape black mold/grime built up on the ceiling vents in the MAIN DINING ROOM!!! if you want to eat cold and overpriced “food”, then go ahead! the new owners that took over recently, have completely ruined the place!!! they own the one in Covington too!!
the regional manager doesn’t know the menu nor how to run the place, they have failed the last FOUR INSPECTIONS!! DO NOT EAT HERE!! DONT EVEN GO INSIDE, THERE IS BLACK MOLD IN THE MAIN DINING ROOM!! YOU WILL WAIT A LONG TIME FOR YOUR FOOD AND IT WONT COME OUT ALL AT ONCE. AS A SERVER HERE, DO NOT EAT HERE!
the cooks in the kitchen are trying their hardest, they are respectable people yet the ownership prevents them from showing their potential. the servers are also all under extreme duress and are trying their best, please bear with them and show them that it isn’t their fault. because it really is bad over there and they usually get blamed.
they will probably delete this but oh well. i needed to let the public know. the ihop in hammond is an extreme health hazard!!

Waited over 30 min for cold food, & our waitress Whitney had a poor and nasty attitude. Disappointed with the service and overall experience. Good customer service and properly prepared food should always be a priority. Hopeful management addresses these issues to improve future experiences for customers

Placed an order through the ihop app. I ordered the split decision breakfast and the free syrup caddy. There was maybe 4 tables seated inside, yet I ended up waiting almost an hour and a half for my to go order I placed before I arrived at the restaurant. I didn’t get the different flavor syrups, or the icing that was supposed to come on my pancakes. And I had to ask to get the pancakes because they forgot to put them in my bag. Worst ihop I’ve been to. Wish I could have gotten a refund but it seemed too difficult

Worst IHOP I've ever been to!!! Ordered the fisherman platter. They double cooked, my fish fries were served cold The shrimp was.
The only thing they had going for Them until they Served me salsa instead of cocktail sauce Management was very.
Rude unprofessional. Might be time for new management at this location....

I won't rate the service as bad because there was only one server on duty. The server was outstanding considering the circumstances. Pleasant attitude the entire time. Food is always great here.

DO NOT EAT FROM THIS PLACE THE COSTUMER SERVICE IS HORRIBLE, THE LONG WAIT TIMES FOR PICKUP and EATING IN, AND TRYING TO GET A REFUND IS IMPOSSIBLE BECAUSE THE STORE MANAGER DOES NOT KNOW HOW TO ISSUE OUT THE REFUND. I ORDERED FOOD ON THE 3/3/25 FOR PICK UP. WAIT TIME WAS PASS AN HOUR. THEN WHEN I RECEIVED THE FOOD THEY DIDN’T HAVE ALL MY FOOD THAT I ORDERED. I ASKED FOR REFUND THE MANAGERS THAT WAS AT THE STORE AT THE TIME COULDN’T. TOLD ME TO COME IN THE MORNING TO GET A REFUND FROM THE STORE MANAGER . I TALK TO THE STORE MANAGER HE COULD NOT ISSUE MY REFUND BECAUSE HE DIDN’T HAVE SOME CODE. THATS ON 03/04/25. TODAY,03/05/25, STILL NO REFUND OR COMMUNICATION WITH STORE MANAGER. WHEN YOU CALL CUSTOMER SERVICE THEY CAN NOT REALLY HELP YOU. ALL THEY CAN DO IS WRITE YOUR COMPLAINTS AND CONTACT THE STORE. MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS WILL NOT BE EATING AT THIS ESTABLISHMENT ANYMORE. If you do decide to eat at ihop just don’t try to get no refund and hope you can enjoy your food because I couldn’t.
The food was typical IHOP, but the service was horrible and despite there being only a few people, it was slow. You could also hear the staff complaining about each other.

Don’t try and call to place an order because they have an automated redirect to a 3rd party company and the last 2 times I’ve tried to order you can barely understand anything they’re saying. This last time I asked for crispy bacon and she said I couldn’t beg that and that she would redirect me to someone. She waited like a minute and then just automatically hung up.
The food is terrible. We were the only people in here and she didn’t even bring the right food out for us. The service was so slow so overall it was just not a good experience.

Went in ordered a omelet, it said it was spicy, but what I received not, and it had so e kind of meat in it that had a rank taste to it. Was only able to take a couple bites then I said I'm going g to be sick if I eat anymore. Told the server and she just said oh wow, do you want me to take it away? I said yes. Then she brought me the ticket, no adjustment no sorry. Then when I got to the register and told the manager the same thing, he said well I will check the meat, we just got it in. Again no I am sorry. And was charged full bill. Pretty sorry service on the managers part. I will not be back and IHOP was my favorite place, not this one
