Luma Coffee was an incredible experience! The food was absolutely delicious, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the service was fantastic. Our barista, Killian, got our food and coffee out extremely fast, all served with a smile, which made the visit even more enjoyable. Everything came out quickly, and it was clear Killian and the rest of the staff genuinely cared about creating a great experience. If you’re looking for amazing food, excellent coffee, and outstanding service, Luma Coffee is the place to go!

You’re paying for the experience of the coffee shop rather than the coffee. Espresso seems to always be burnt my last few visits. Staff was chatty with regulars but blunt with new people. My latte was $6.60 and looks to be about 6oz. Wish they would have at least give extra ice and receive a larger glass to give the illusion of more coffee.
I used to love getting the turkey sandwich but the last three times I’ve gotten a sandwich from luma the side salad has been sooo small. It’s $11.00 for a sandwich with a side salad. The side salad used to be a hefty amount and now it’s maybe 5-7 pieces of lettuce :/ I kept hoping it was bc I asked for it to-go or it was an accident but it’s been three times now. I will always love Luma but maybe they had to start putting less for some reason I’m not sure?

Local coffee shop who roast their own beans, can’t say enough about this awesome late night coffee spot, it’s in a historic drugstore which makes it even more special. Was passing through and was glad to see a coffee shop open past 5 pm !! Not only open but happy to serve and busy , at least 15-20 ppl there with 20 minutes left till closing. The staff was cordial and welcoming. Lots of seating available and even a loft area. Interesting and rotating menu options. There is also a full food menu. I got the 1986, it had a unique flavor profile, not your typical milk based coffee drink. All that was left of pastries for the day was a blueberry muffin, that they outsource from a local bakery daily, it was so moist and delicious!! Will definitely be back if ever in the area! Great work guys

For those from Hammond, the charm of being in Rexall drugs makes it all the better. For those passing through, I can think of no greater tribute to old Hammond than stopping here.
Guys. I have never in my life had a better latte matter a fact I’ve never had any coffee drink that was THIS amazing. Not too sweet yet not too bitter. The “loco coco” has been on my mind since i had it. I live in Baton Rouge but I will be back for that coffee. On top of that the staff was so friendly. The atmosphere was beautiful and chill!

Great coffee and friendly staff. After stopping by the place around the corner and leaving with bitter coffee that we poured out. Luma was a breath of fresh air. We were greeted as soon as we walked in. The staff was knowledgeable and helpful. I tried two different pour overs and enjoyed both. Highly recommend visiting.

I wish there was more than 5 stars because Luma definitely deserves more! This is our favorite coffee shop ever. We live in Mandeville and take the drive to Hammond quite frequently just to get a specialty drink and the chicken salad sandwich or the avocado toast. (Sometimes both ?) Not only are the menu items AMAZING, but the atmosphere and aesthetic in the shop is so beautiful. I love walking in with greetings and smiling faces of the baristas and smelling the wonderful aroma of their home roasted coffee. During March it is a MUST to try the Mardi Gras Matcha, it’s so good that one day I drank two while I was in the shop and had one to go! (Don’t blame me for your new addiction lol) Love this place and forever love the sweet, beautiful owners. ???
Luma is such a gem in downtown Hammond! From the decor to the coffee, you can tell that everything was crafted so intentionally! My husband and I both got The Cure latte and it was *Chefs Kiss*! Honestly, the flavors couldn’t have been better! So refreshing on a hot summer day! Will absolutely be returning!
