Gotta be honest, I used Grok to give me a restaurant suggestion. Boy did I get what I asked for. My prompt was simple. “Lively restaurant frequented by locals”. It was that and more. I entered the dining room to find an elderly couple and a young couple with kids. Since I was traveling solo, I made my way back to the bar. I asked two of the guys at the bar to give me a suggestion and they spoke simultaneously and said “GET THE SPECIAL”. So I did. They were right. Knocked my socks off. It did get a little loud back in the bar with the pool tables and locals coming and going. People were enjoying the patio (an old gas stations canopy) and the restaurant was dog friendly. If I’m in the area I will definitely go back.

Great music terrible service. Been a regular at mariners for the last 12 years and after tonight I won’t be back. It should take 2 hours to get a quesadilla.

I ordered fish and shrimp plate it’s was too soft and greasy. I went to the counter and told another waitress I can’t eat that. So she asked me did I want anything else besides that or take it off my ticket. I told her to take it off my ticket. About five minutes later the African American waitress stated to me that the manager will not take this off my ticket. I told her if I have to pay for it I need it made over and I need to talk to the manager. So the manager came and told me it wasn’t anything wrong with it and they will not remove this off my ticket. So I told the manager to remake I don’t want my food fried hard nor greasy. So the African American waitress stated kept walking back and forth to see what I’m saying to the manager and I politely told her why are you walking back and forward to the table now when you guys came to the table to get our order and bring our food. Never asked us do we need a refill. So she got aggressive in front the manager and customer. Instead of the manager telling her to leave she pushing her back like the waitress was about to come hit me. So the waitress told me to leave and I told her fine are you gonna pay for my food then. She stated that she was about to call the police. I told her to call them. A few minutes later the waitress walked by the table started picking that’s when I really got upset and told her come back by this table picking again I’m slide you under that table. I would not recommend this restaurant to anybody and we came her to celebrate my sister birthday

First great service. Second, if you want a grilled porkchop, then look no further. It's as good as it gets. I know they are laughing at me as I knaw on the bone, but it's so good.

Came in town from Ga an went here on a beautiful Thursday night with my bf! We caught the band as well. We had the Spinach an Architoke dip, and fried shrimp on bun with fries, and the fried fish with rice an garlic bread. Our server Abigail was really sweet too! 10/10❤️
