I have eaten in the restaurant several times and the food was good. Today I went through the drive-thru. I ordered a fried catfish platter. I was so disappointed!! The catfish was totally over-cooked. It was dark brown and the fish was all dried out! Additionally it was so salty I couldn't eat it! I won't be going back.

I expected a typical fast food restaurant but was very pleasantly surprised. The food was outstanding, the service very friendly and the restaurant itself was very clean and welcoming. We will be back.

This is probably only my 6th time eating here, but I really wanted to take a minute to give this place some praise. Since they don’t have a comment/survey option, a (public) google review will suffice and perhaps help to bring more people to other door. I do hope this business finds great success as I believe it is well-deserved. I am beyond impressed with a fast food chain for “Louisiana” food that can actually produce really delicious versions of my down-home favorites. Although dining out (even fast food) is a bit out of my budget most of the time these days, I do find them to be reasonably priced. Additionally, the staff at my Hammond location has also been so very courteous and friendly every time. And, they really are FAST food, but it is real food, real beef, real fish, and shrimp and sausage, actual quality ingredients, not just processed mush shaped to pretend to be real food. So far, I’ve tried and can recommend their fried catfish, French fries, hush puppies, homemade onion rings, hot roast beef poboy, red beans and rice, and their gumbo. Each of these items could stand head to head with my other local eateries’ versions, but what is extra surprising is that they have pulled this off in a drive thru chain restaurant format. Kudos to the founders and kudos to your Hammond staff! Thanks for the yum!

Dietary restrictions: As much as I’m impressed with this place, since google asked, their dishes can be too salty for my very salt-sensitive (& medically restricted) father’s palette. However, I do not share that opinion.
Also, in case you’re not from Louisiana and reading this review, I generally don’t think of Louisiana food as being super friendly to dietary restrictions, but I haven’t reviewed this establishment’s menu options with this question in mind.

Parking: Typical fast food drive thru parking here with the row of parking spots around the building in a rectangle lot.

A well designed restaurant with well trained staff. I had a fried shrimp poboy dressed with a side of red beans and rice. Let me tell y’all - it was delicious. I will go back for more when I am in Hammond.

The food is absolutely amazing only thing that I don't like is when you get it to go they do not fill up the cups so if you buy a large your really getting a medium

Service staff were prompt and very friendly. Food left much to be desired. The seafood gumbo was absent of any seafood. They quickly replaced it with more that was slightly better, but still lacking for what it costs. Fries were not warm like the fish was. Overall I'd consider this to be OK, but too many other seafood restaurants in the area for them to be competitive if the food quality doesn't improve.

Been there 4 times . First 2 times we waited for food and it was hot and great . The last 2 times the fries and hush puppies were cold and the chicken and shrimp warm . The fish was the only thing hot . Got go boxes and brought it home to warm up . Makes you think WHY DID WE GO OUT TO EAT . SAD , Hope it gets better because we really enjoyed the first 2 times . We will check the reviews and see what changes if anything . THANK YOU
