I ordered abar b que brisket and smoked sausage plate and I got a plate with dry brisket, dry sausage, no barbecue sauce on the meat and none in the bag,

My wife and I drove to New Orleans for the weekend and decided to stop by Ronnie’s for lunch, to try some cracklins, as we had never had them.
We ordered the pulled pork po boy, the stuffed boudin balls and a scoop of chicken cracklins…went back for another scoop of the cracklins!
The service was friendly and fast we were back on the highway in 20 minutes, after eating. The food was beyond incredible and it will forever be a stop of mine on the way to New Orleans and I’m telling all my friends.

If you have never had chicken cracklins before stop by, they are right of the highway. A scoop full barely made us home, the chicharons I grew up on pale in comparison.

Usually really good but this last time the boudin balls were really over fried and the pepper jack stuffed ones had very little cheese. The ladies working were more worried about gossiping than taking orders or answering questions.

$12 for a chicken Po Boy is crazy especially not using a fresh piece of chicken they used frozen chicken patty who does that smh

The best boudin! Can't go wrong with Smoked or regular but we prefer the smoked. We only come through this area once a year but we make it a priority to stop here for lunch and buy plenty of extra Boudin to take home!!! Matter of fact I'm going to go warm some up now!

had smothered chicken and rice crawfish roll banana bread coconut praline
rice was gummy chicken was good sides not so much, roll was good , banana bread was ok just ok and candy was cool
