By far the nastiest Chinese good ive ever had. The hot and sour soup was the consistency of jello. Its the next day and im still trying to get over the taste. The pepper chicken was more like a soup with all the sauce. Yuck!

Never had a bad meal here. Plenty of options to choose from. Sushi, Chinese food, pizza, burgers. Some of the best riced rice I've ever eaten. Definitely the best Hammond.

This was my first time to visit street side, I had the Streetside Sandwich which was a roast beef on French, the only complaint I have is I wish it came with some gravy. But the roast was so tender and yummy, yes, not the slice roast beef, pot roast, and it was delicious.
Will visit again, but not during the workday, so I can try their drinks as well.

I was expecting so much more.
When I arrived, I went to the bathroom to wash my hands and use the facilities. Well, the door would not lock! The young lady behind the bar told me to pull up on handle at a diagnosed when closing and turn the lock. Well, let’s just say I couldn’t figure it out and struggled for a little while to see if I could figure it out… I just ended up praying to God no one would walk in. Luckily no one did.
Then I went to order my food (to go) at the bar area. Everything was good there. No complaints. He was very friendly and helpful with the amount of soy sauce I requested, after the fact.
Now, to the reason for WHY I came… The Food! I expected soooo much more.
In comparison to the photos of the roll (customer taken and menu look) and what actually I received —was not even close. Plus, I paid 15$ for this roll and feel like I was ripped off — 3 of the pieces did not even have any of the toppings.

I probably will not return for the sushi or to order to go.

I eat lunch at Streetside pretty often and the food is usually really good. They have a nice variety and the happy hour specials are one of my favorites. It’s a great spot to grab a bite and relax for a bit. Always a solid choice.

Ordered through door dash. Ordered rock n roll sushi, sweet and sour chicken w/ combo lo mein and a cuban sandwich. The lo mein tasted as if it had been scorched (burned taste). The cuban was not dressed as ordered, tasted really bland. Subpar chinese food.

I recommend for the food, service and atmosphere but the prices have jumped almost 40%…I literally last year could get a Metairie roll for $6 and a Henson roll for $15 now it’s $7.80 and $18.50…such a bummer.

Came here Saturday night (11/9). The hostess (she had red braids) who sat us was extremely rude. She didn’t even ask me how many she just stared at me. I politely told her there was two of us. She got an attitude as she gathered menus and just said “Come.” as if we were dogs. As we got to the table, she slammed down the menus and walked away as if we were inconveniencing her. Sorry that you had to do your job. I know placing menus can be so very difficult. Maybe next time have your coworker who was sitting on the bench up front on her phone take customers since you’re too good to do so.

Would love to get to actually rate this place. They need a better method of having people waiting for tables. They took our name and number down, told us it would be about a 30 minute wait. We were fine with that. Went to check after about 45 minutes and were told they didn't forget about us the table is just sitting there and won't leave. After another 30 minutes we check again and our name had been scratched off their list. The hostess says she'll put us back on the list but it's still going to be a bit of a wait as they are busy. Then another group walks in and asks about their reservation so the hostess just walks away from me to check on their table. I understand being busy but prioritizing clearing out an entire back room for a walk in group of over 200 should not take precedence over regular customers. Someone with a party that large should have made a reservation or reserved the back room in advance.
