Went twice not impressed went to get ribs they said they don't serve them. I think they need to take them off menu. Last time took forever to get food and it wasn't good at all. Had to get can cokes because coke machine was broke. Won't be going back high priced for the amount and food you get.

This used to be one of our go to lunch places, but the last two visits have been awful and we won't be returning. We decided to overlook the last visit where the over priced crawfish mac and cheese had two crawfish tails in it and a ton of cheese to mask it, and give them another chance. So yesterday, my friend and I both ordered the smoked chicken with baked beans and potato salad. We were pleasantly surprised when the food came and we were each given two leg quarters. But then we began eating. The chicken was so dry/old it was not worth eating. The baked beans were obviously several days old and dried up. The potato salad was probably from a grocery store and not good at all. We were the only table in the place at 12 noon which tells you something. They used to be packed at lunch time so obviously word has gotten out. It's a shame how good it used to be and how bad it is now. There is no management around like there used to be. He would come around and ask how the food is. They also charge a fee when you use a credit card to pay. Wow really nice. Their prices have been raised like everyone else, but then they slap an extra fee on you for not having cash. Won't be back and warning everyone we know not to waste money like we did.

I just returned from hospital as I got food poisoning from leftover bbq from this place. I have tried to speak to management about this .am told mgmt not in.even after I told them it was about sickness. Guess they don't care if others get it also.SHAMEFUL!!!

Was excited to try this place because of the awesome pictures they post. My dad and I had lunch, we both got the fish and shrimp special. Let me just say it was ok, we ate it. BUT whyyyy are you serving frozen fish and shrimp? We live in Louisiana you can easily get fresh, especially if you know it's your special of the day. Those shrimp seemed like they were precooked then fried again. No breading, soggy fish, over all ehhhh. Wouldn't go again.

Tried to order ToGo.... They were out of most everything, what we did order was Cold, wrong, and not impressive.... The service was nice but not what we expected when we got home for movie night...

i'm giving it a two because the food was fine. very mediocre. i order and fish and shrimp plate to go and on the phone they were out of potato salad so they gave me fries which wasn't a big deal at all. when picking up they told me there was green beans in my plate because they had no more hush puppies . then followed by there is plenty of fish in there bc they ran out shrimp. so i asked if i could get plenty of tartar sauce for all the fish and they said they ran out as well. i just felt like it was unprofessional to tell me at the store i wish i would have received a phone call telling me this . i basically got a totally different place than what i had ordered. this negative review could have been avoided very many ways

I wan.ted to give this place a try with my family for lunch. I ordered the roast beef sandwich with Swiss cheese and green beans as a side. It came out with no cheese and had fries. The waitress sent it back and cook put cheese on and gave me green beans. Now for the taste of everything. Roast beef had no flavor tasted like it was put in water and boiled. Bread was hard. Greens beans had no flavor. My wife got pulled pork plate. It was so dry she only took a couple bites. We both didn't eat all our food. Better places to eat than at this place.

I have eaten here a couple of times and the food is good. I like the sidewinder fries. Today I had a whole cheeseburger poboy for $15. I was disappointed that the poboy only had one hamburger Patty- half a party on each side so it was mostly bread. I would recommend getting a burger instead for $10.
Walked in for take out. Took a little while to get it. Smoked meat sampler was alittle dry but good. Pulled pork sandwich was very good.

This was my first time here. I had the half chicken barbecue plate with green beans and potato salad. The chicken was smoked and perfectly cooked, the green beans were very interesting that they had some shredded meat in it, and the potato salad was a creamy mustard style. The sauce was a sweet barbecue sauce which is the type I like. I don't know if they have the vinegar style but you might ask.

Smokin' new local business. They serve the poboys on Leidenheimer bread!!! Everything was cooked to perfection. The baked potato was cooked in their smoker. We were also informed that Mr. Mule is hands on and also does his best to buy and support locals. Great food and great service. -thanks Brandy C for pics.
