I don't know what happened to this place. It used to be one of our favorites. The last 3 times we've been, the food has taken longer and longer to arrive. This time we waited 55 minutes for our entrees and there were only 2 other tables of patrons - one of those was two women that appeared to be off-duty employees as one of them kept walking in and out of the kitchen. It took 10 minutes for our server to make first-contact. The salads and appetizer came out in a not quick but reasonable time. I used to love the Filet Cheesesteak Eggrolls but have stopped ordering them as the last few times they contained no detectable cheese. We tried the scallop appetizer which turned out to be 3 laughably tiny scallops for like 14 bucks - they tasted OK. After that - we waited and waited and waited for our main dishes. The server kept returning to our table every few minutes to ask if everything was OK - while we were clearly starting at no food on the table except our ciabatta roll which was getting colder by the minute. At the 50 minute point I confronted the server about the wait and ask if would could get a replacement roll since, by then, ours was ice cold. She brought one and not only charged for us for it but also charged an extra $1 for butter. This place used to have the absolute best steak in town but my filet ordered medium, came medium well(which I can deal with) but was also completely black charred. The charred taste was overwhelming and there seemed to be no other seasoning. My wife's crabcakes (she ordered as her entree) were good but not worth the wait. No apologies, no manager approached to address our concerns. Management, please fix this. We'd like to continue to have you in our restaurant rotation again.

If I could give a zero star review for this place, I definitely would. Don't waste your time going, which it takes A LOT of time. Went for my birthday dinner with my husband. Start off by saying it took 45 MINUTES to get just our first drink. So needless to say we were ready to order. Ordered two appetizers and then a filet and a New York strip. Sat for another hour waiting. Filet was cooked to the correct temperature but very very bland. The New York strip, on the other hand, was anything but. We are 99% sure I was served a pork chop. Never got asked for refills the whole 3 hours we were there and then given a $140 check. AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE!! On top of that, you have to be dressed nice to even sit in a very basic, not at all "fancy" environment.

The only recommendation is the filet. The steak tips used to be a great meal. Last night it was four small chunks of steak in a bowlful of sautéed onions with some peppers and onions. The steak was overcooked, so waitress did have it remade. Tuna steak was overcooked also, but it was not too dry. I ate it instead of two complaints at the table. They do have great French fries.

We had reservations at 6:30pm on 10/7/23 for 6 people to celebrate a birthday. We waited 45 minutes for drinks from the bar and OVER 2 HOURS for our food, and didn't leave until 9:30pm. Our waitress was fairly new, but we gave her a lot of grace and settled for extremely slow service. We also settled for undercooked steaks because it took so long to get our food that we refused to wait any longer... but at no point did we ever complain about our food or service. We didn't feel like it was her fault, as she was still learning and new to waitressing. A fine dining steak restaurant shouldn't have a new waitress on her own at a large table. At the end of our meal, the "manager" came to our table and loudly blamed us for a mistake that the kitchen made. She was the rudest "manager" that I've ever come across and was very demeaning to our entire table along with the waitress. She made a scene and ruined the end of our meal that we had already waited forever to receive. Instead of trying to please the customer, she successfully got 6 first time customers vow to NEVER return. Lindsey handled this terribly and should be ashamed of herself. Our waitress and us as customers should have never been treated like this over a $30 steak. Ridiculous.

We were celebrating a friend’s birthday and there was a mix up with a steak for one of the guys in our party. The waitress was quick to try to correct it, but management handled it very poorly trying to charge him for two steaks. To hear management trying to assign blame to someone was very disheartening. Serving larger tables is challenging, anyone who has waited tables knows that. To know that a restaurant would not support their servers and provide good customer service to their customers is pretty sad.

I could not be more pleased with the food or service. We celebrated my mother's 85 birthday and everything was perfect! The food, service and atmosphere were amazing. Highly recommend!

After seeing all the great reviews, we decided to give this place a try and maybe we caught them on a bad night, but we were not impressed at all. Steaks were both over-cooked, basically charred and we asked for medium rare. Ambience is terrible. Sides were Cold. Overall bad experience

Good Svs. Good whiskey. My steak was cooked good but had a lot of gristle in it. Didn’t eat 1/2 of it. The shrimp were great.

So disappointed after trying this place. We had such high hopes after reading the reviews and drove 45 minutes to check it out. First of all, the atmosphere is terrible. We were in a side room that you had to walk through the bar to get to that was right near the bathrooms. Maybe the main part of the restaurant has a better vibe, but this room was not good. I will say that the steak egg rolls were very good, but that was about it. The ranch dressing on the house salad was super runny and almost tasted like flavored water. We all ordered our steaks medium rare and they were definitely not. They were completely charred and I would venture to guess well done. No pink whatsoever on the inside. Super bummed, especially for fine dining prices. Our waitress was super sweet and the service was ok, but nothing to write home about. Would not recommend. There are way too many steak options with phenomenal food, service and atmosphere to choose from on the Northshore.
