I want to shout out JuJu for SURE! I left a funeral here in Hammond moments before arriving at the establishment and she was so freaking warm and welcoming made my already horrible night losing a family member even better! I’m so thankful for her fullfilling my requesting and being attentive to my needs as a first time customer coming all the way from Atlanta! Would visit again based on her service alone!

I'm new to Louisiana & visited Truth last night... The security guy was on point. The 2 Ladies at the door were so sweet & our waitress was amazing! Music was good. Environment was good. & The people made it better!! Louisiana people are built different & theyve made this Hookah Bar a great place to chil.

Honest review: I patron this business lots of times just because it’s a black owned lounge in downtown Hammond. However, the cleanliness of the lounge needs major work like the disgusting women’s bathroom. I went with some friends on may 2, 2025. The last few times I’ve gone the ladies bathroom looks as if it’s never cleaned, sonetimes no hand soap, a dirty toilet bowl that looks like it was found in an abandoned house, & never replenished with paper towels or toilet paper. I had to go to the men’s bathroom to retrieve toilet paper to use. Other than that, my friends and i had a relatively good time. I don’t normally write reviews but i felt compelled to because we as customers deserve better.

Waited an hour for wings… someone came in after me ordered wings and a flat bread they got all their food n I had to cancel my order because it was never going to come sad my first and last time coming. They never tended to me because I guess guest by themselves they are not worried if they are having a good time or if they got everything they needed or order sad.
Spoke with manager who was sitting right next to me playing the game and he told the bartender where are her wings …. He asked the cook and the cook said he only had one order. I was not offered a drink on the house I was not offered something else to eat very poor service
