It's a typical Walmart. The only issue I have with this particular Walmart as well as the one in Ponchatoula is, self checkout is pay with card only and there are never enough cashier's with tills to move customers out the door fast.

Normal issues, but today an item fell and broke. Shopper felt bad & was picking up glass, I stopped her. I informed the employee in next lane but another employee beet her & kicked it under the shelf! What a shame!

They don't have enough motorized chairs for they handicap and the store is always have empty in the meat department.

I was in and out with self check and prices were really good. I spent 202 yesterday and 89 today. All stuff for our new home.

I shop at hammond and ponchatoula walmarts .. I want to thank miss LATOYA manager .. the system tried to run my card about 20 times .. Ms latoya paid my bill herself GOD BLESS HER.

We're traveling, so we get to a lot of Walmarts. This one is the best one we've been to since leaving Florida traveling along I-10. Clean, well stocked. I actually liked being in here!

They recently renovated this Walmart to give it a nice updated look! It is very nice. They put in all these nice and new self check out lanes, but after a certain time shut half of them down which I think is a huge inconvenience.

I'm actually going to give him four stars. I was so surprised that they had most but not all but mostly all of my vitamins and supplements which was sometimes unusual before Covid and even had a few new ones. It looked like the employees were working hard to keep the shelves stocked. I had heard that I had better go ASAP because the shelves were getting empty. That may have been the case a couple days prior. I don't know. But I do know when I went they were pretty well stocked. And of course I didn't want to sit in the line at the checkout so I did self-check out which is cool with me because you can work it at your own pace and double bag things, etc. So on this visit I'm going to give them four, probably would give five but I did notice a few price increases on a few things. But that's pretty much everywhere. Maybe I ought to give them five. But I'll keep it at four because they s***** you in to spend a lot of money and I walked out of there and spent $470 so. But I got plenty of stuff

This place is pure filth. It starts in parking lot where the carts pile up everywhere(management fail). Garbage is left in the carts when they actually do bring them in(management fail). Apparently it's a huge place for thieves too because they have a mobile camera on a boom in part lot. They are one step up from a ghettomart. Workers there are crabby and make it look bad for the ones who want to work. From management all the way down, there is nothing to be proud of.

This store is messy, unorganized and has some of the laziest workers I've ever seen. I was there the night before vacation and needed to try on a bathing suit. At 9:58, I attempted to try it on and the lady said the dressing room is closed at 10, even though it wasn't 10 yet. I politely asked her if I could quickly use it because i couldn't return tomorrow to try it on. With an attitude, the lazy old lady told me no. After, I went to electronics to buy a memory card. The memory card was locked so I asked an employee to open it but they didn't have the key. I asked a manager and they said they'd send someone over soon. I waited 15 mins then asked someone else, same thing happens. Waited 15 more minutes and finally left. Walmart should have never stopped paying these lazy people minimum wage.

It takes about 20 minutes to get anything from the deli here because they usually only have one person working it. The deli workers are slow moving and easily distracted by other co-workers who the choose to have a conversation with them while helping customers with a long line. I've also bought expired food from the Hammond location before.
