I've been here years ago and loved it. Guess what? I still do! This time, I got a house salad with fried oysters. The oysters were perfect! My greens were a little bitter, though. My wife ordered, you guessed it, the Hamburger Steak with fries. I tasted it, and it was very good. Our friends got the Crab Cakes and the Crawfish Egg Rolls. They said they were so delicious. I have to take their word for it since they never offered me a taste! I'm talking to you, buddy!! Lol
Before I start into my review, we marked the $30 to $50 range because we both went a little crazy on ordering. But it was worth absolutely every penny. We both had the filet mignon and I had an extra side salad and then after the meal we got a dessert of the absolute best bread pudding that we've had in years. If you don't order the top of the line stuff, you'll still get a great meal I'm sure but you can pay between $10 and $20 and go away satisfied. Now, where to start..... I had the filet mignon ordered it medium and got it exactly as I had pictured medium to be. My wife ordered hers well done and when it came out we thought she had gotten a steak rather than a filet but it turned out that it was butterflyed so that it could be cooked more thoroughly without burning the outside. And it was exactly the way she wanted it as well. The filets were both super tender and cooked to perfection. I don't know what seasoning they used on it but it was fantastic. Both side salads were fresh and crispy and the meal came with broccoli and my wife likes her broccoli very lightly cooked and still crunchy not all soggy. Well without even asking for it as she usually does, she got it exactly the way she likes it still very crispy and lightly cooked. Our server Brigitte was very pleasant and professional. We spoke with Stacy the manager just to let her know how much we enjoyed our meal and to thank her for the excellent dining experience. I wish I could give this place more than five stars, but it will definitely be on our list to return to.

Ordered the roast beef poboy ez mayo and NO pickles. Kitchen put them on, realized their mistake and took almost all of them off, but forgot to take off the pickle juice. Ruined my sandwich. However, the meat was tender and tasty and the service was great.

We enjoyed our dinner at Bienvenue on Hickory. We had the boudin balls and onion rings for appetizers. We had the Remy Stack, my wife loved it, just a tad more dressing would have made it perfect even on the side. I had the Swiss Shroom burger, very juicy, i would get again. My son had the Bienvenue Burger, same with him, he enjoyed the burger and said it was cooked well. We definitely want to try the seafood platter next time. Thanks for a great experience.

Our weekly dinner krewe met here for dinner and everyone raved about the food! We have a diverse group, with some more picky than others, and no one complained...only compliments! The portions were substantial, the food was delicious and the service was incredible! We will definitely return in the near future!!!

Was not busy on a Wednesday afternoon around 1pm. The food was good. We had water to drink & the Maroney (sp?) sandwich w/ fries, the Paneed Chicken Alfredo, and fried catfish with fries to eat. The fries were re-dropped, resulting in poor quality. But everything else was delicious. Portions were big, but so was so was the price, kind of. Dropped $100 after tip for a 3 person lunch. I really wanted a cocktail, but would never stiff great service.Service was on point. No over crowding, and showing up at the exact time needed. It was great. Thank you.
