Food was the best we've ever had here. Waitress said it's a new cook. Great job on picking a new cook Carretas!!!! Service from our waitress was the worst. She literally sat us down, we got our chips and salsa (salsa is hot) no drinks, didn't even take our drink order. Came back approximately 10 mins or so later to finally take our drink order. I was only able to eat 2 chips with salsa and my mouth was on fire (not complaining about the salsa, it was delicious)...

Just a great guilty pleasure. Weekly visit for us, we enjoy the relaxed atmosphere and are not in a rush. The salsa is delicious, the queso and top shelf margaritas are our favorite. Chicken fajitas are beyond a value, the chili relleno is best with the Verde sauce and we split all with a chicken quesadilla. Review is for Harahan location.
