Kim Anh’s in Elmwood is a local gem for authentic Vietnamese cuisine. The pho is fantastic, the grilled chicken poboys are amazing, and everything tastes homemade with real attention to flavor.
Service is always gracious and quick, I've never had an issue with service or food quality here. Like, ever.
The ambiance and décor may feel a little dated, but it adds a sense of comfort and nostalgia. The people and food more than make up for it.
I came in today, not feeling too well. I was greeted by a very nice lady who assisted me with my order. I mentioned that I was not well and she assured me that the soup would be helpful and a few extra tips. I truly appreciate her kindness and the pho was delicious and just what I needed to help recover. I definitely recommend for others to check it out and I’ll definitely be back ! Thank you again
Kim Ahn's Noodle House will always be my favorite place to eat. The family atmosphere and incredible char-grilled pork vermicelli is always spot on.
Pho were really good, great and friendly service
Always a great meal!
One of my harahan favorites
Authentic and tasty! A great option for real vietnamese food in the area. Service is fast and prices are just ok.
The egg rolls aren't great. But the lemon grass pork was awesome.
Located in Eastern NOLA, where there's a relatively large Vietnamese population, this is one of my favorite ones to go to. Of course, their phos are ridiculously delicious due to their amazing broths cooked in large pots derived from a myriad of beef and chicken bones, especially the bone marrow parts that gives so much flavors, along with roasted 🧅🧅, ginger, shallots, star anises, cinnamon sticks, etc. Their stir fry dishes are just as yummy, along with side dishes like deep fried spring rolls, or lighter rice sheet rolls, all with peanut or fish sauce dipping sauce. And best of all, all their dishes are reasonably priced; ~ $20 or less.

Place doesn't appear to be as good as it used to be. This was one of the best places to get pho but now I find their broth to be lackcluster. I believe they also charge extra if you're going to use a credit card.

Top 3 for me: (all equally delicious and unique dishes of their own): Kim Anh Noodle, Tan Dinh and Pho Tau Bay. Kim Anh was there and so hospitable. Salted plum soda and spicy beef noodle soup so great it cures your whole person. Standard comfort dishes like pho and Po boys with dishes not on another menu- curry goat hot pot and buttered quail egg! Be back soon and often~

My preferred choice for Vietnamese, especially for lunch. Freshly cooked, flavorful and dependable. Dined there over 100 times, need I say more?
A variety of dishes, all delicious. The service is friendly and I always leave satisfied.
