We stopped in on a Saturday and felt very welcomed. The staff was friendly and checked in throughout the meal. They were out of smoked salmon so we weren't able to try that. We were a little disappointed because that was recommended for us to try. I got the pulled pork sandwich and mac and cheese. I was happy with the portion size and was able to take some food home to enjoy later. If you are in the area, I would drop in for a meal.

Í had the brisket plate with two sides for $20. Four nice pieces of wonderfully smoked, tender brisket, with mac and cheese and Brussels sprouts. I really liked that the smoke flavor wasn't overwhelming, like it is at some restaurants where the smoke knocks you over. It's subtle and delicious, and perfect with the vinegar sauce I selected. The Brussels sprouts were seasoned with smoked meat (very good), and the Mac and cheese was absolutely, completely delicious. Great for take out, but there are also a few eat-in tables. Friendly, helpful staff. Simple, pleasant decor. I'll be going back. Try it!

Stopped here for lunch by recommendation of a friend. I ordered smoked meatloaf which came with a slice of bread and 2 sides and a soft drink to go. It was good but when I went to hand a $20 to pay I had to hand over more. It came out to be almost 22 dollars. Kind of pricey for a meatloaf lunch. It was good but thought a little too much for meatloaf.

We don't have a rib place in Uptown. Was out shopping at Walmart in Harahan when my husband and I had a hankering for some bbq. Used my Yelp and SMOKE came up with others great reviews. Long story short we picked up some ribs and chicken with their coleslaw and beans to take home. The meat was delicious. Very nice staff working there too. Love that when people enjoy their jobs. Will be back

2nd BBQ review of 2022 Smoked in Harahan, LA. Very Good BBQ and service with a smile. I had a two meat plate with the Brisket and Pulled Pork, Mac and Cheese and Baked Bean. All very good. I tried two of the sauces, the hickory and the sweet heat. The restaurant was clean and the service was exceptional. I'll definitely be back. I need to try the smoked salmon next. That sounded good.
The absolute best smoked meat around...the brisket is tender and juicy. Ribs fall off the bone. Pulled pork nachos...yummmy! Burnt ends melt in your mouth.

The menu price offered a sandwich and side for $9 but once I finally received the emailed receipt I was charged $10 for each sandwich then a .99 non cash charge for using a credit card which the cashier said nothing about. I understand prices are higher right now but the menu is chalk on a chalkboard. How much work does it take to change the price. I understand it’s only $3 I’m complaining about but I still would have appreciated it being right in the first place. It just seems kind of underhanded. The food was good. I’d eat it again.
