I am genuinely surprised by the other reviews. My husband and I were visiting NOLA and stopped into Boomtown for dinner and a place to sleep. It was hard to find a restaurant in the casino WITH a bar. I have been going to this Casino, since the 1st week it open. You had to stand under a tent and wait until so many people get off the Boat before you can board the Boat. And it was a different Boat back then also. I really enjoy going there i have won and lost there. I think it's time for a up-grade on the Bathrooms on the Boat. Shawanda and Jasmine ( front desk agents) were extremely kind to everyone. They wished everyone a Merry Christmas. They always had a smile on their faces. They were eager to assist guests. Housekeeping did a great job keeping the room clean. There is complementary Peet’s coffee located by the front desk. The coffee was fresh and never ran out.
