Pleasantly surprised i felt as if it's was in NYC. Truly reminded me of home greatly appreciated. The atmosphere the music the food was just amazing. And the staff extremely hospitable and gracious. I'm very funny about loud music where I am going to eat but this personally for me was just awesome. The line dancing was on point. A truly great time I never thought eating and clubbing could be combined but my hat is off to the owner this is just amazing Bravo... the drinks are very good also a must stop thru if your in the area seeking good food drinks and music this for sure is a must stop for me whenever I'm in Louisiana from now on I highly recommend this establishment...💥💥💥💯🔥

Where do I even start? My first time in New Orleans and the flavors here blew me away 🤯🔥. I grew up in Miami, live in Atlanta now, and with my French Caribbean roots (Martinique 🇲🇶, Dominican 🇩🇴, Haitian 🇭🇹), I know good seasoning… but NOLA food? DIFFERENT!

The owner (who also had the Airbnb we stayed at) put us on to this spot and wow—service on point, vibes great (karaoke 🎤🎶), and food so good we ordered another plate to take home and had it for breakfast the next morning 😋.

I’ll recommend this place 1000 times over. If you come to New Orleans, don’t miss it! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

I had to pick up the phone and call just to let Cafe NOLA know their food blew me away! Coming from a long line of cooks—my family has chefs, my husband’s family has chefs—I know good food when I taste it. And let me tell you, the turkey leg was out of this world. Tender, perfectly smoky (I’m convinced they’re using pecan wood), and not a bit salty — and we don’t eat salt! That balance of flavor and tenderness is rare, and they nailed it. The yams? Absolutely excellent — some places mess up yams, but these tasted just like my grandmama’s homemade yams. That kind of nostalgic comfort food made with skill and love. My husband got his plate, and I told him not to worry because when I called him to rave about my food, he was so impressed he stopped on the road, turned right around, and went back to get more food for the restaurant! He had told his best friend he’d know if the food was good if I called him—and I did. His friend laughed, and my husband didn’t hesitate to make that U-turn. That’s how good it is.
Cafe NOLA, you have a full five stars. This is a must-visit spot for anyone craving real, heartfelt Southern cooking done right. If you’re in Harvey, Louisiana, don’t miss this treasure. Trust me—you’ll be calling to tell them how amazing their food is too!
Thank you so much !!!!!! Oh and l added my veggies with cheese🙌🏽
But they have great veggies l just wanted double yams with my turkey leg❤️

A group of friends and I came to cafe Nola on a Thursday evening for their line dancing night. We got there around 7 p.m., and there was already a thick crowd of people enjoying their meals/drinks and line dancing! Every line dance you can think of (and probably many you’ve never heard of) was done that night. I learned sooooo many new ones, and I appreciated that there’s an instructor for some of the dances. It’s a fun night of no judgment and good vibes. Great DJ as well!

But there’s more! The food and drinks are also great here! They have a happy hour until 8 p.m.! $5 well shots, rum punch, and I think another cocktail. I actually just had an unsweetened tea, which comes in a large drinking cup. I ordered the salmon with green beans and potato salad, which I think was about $21. The salmon was so well-seasoned and wasn’t dry at all! The green beans and potato salad were also good. It really felt like a summer cookout at your favorite Auntie’s house. I also tried a shrimp that a friend ordered, and it was also very well seasoned and flavorful.

Although the place was very busy, our waitress, Jamari, was very friendly and checked on us regularly! We didn’t wait long for the food to come out either. I’ll def be back. Maybe I’ll come early next time, because the parking lot is small, and judging by the number of people who knew every single line dance, they have some faithful regulars that come out.

This is a great place to gather with friends, celebrate special occasions, or just to have fun solo dolo. I hear they have trap bingo one night, comedy/open mic on another night, and karaoke on Fridays. My apologies in advance because I will be up there singing my heart out on a Friday in the very near future!
