I order 6 chocho's they were wet and old very salty please stop severe those old ones and cook as order I'm very disappointed in China doll I will not get them again

I specifically asked the waitress multiple times if the food my daughter ordered had sesame or nuts, because she is allergic. I explained that her allergy is sensitive and that it can be triggered if they use the same cooking utensils. My daughter got her food ate a rib and took a bite of her rice and began to have an allergic reaction. I asked the waitress if her food had sesame or nuts and she said they cook most things with sesame oil. I had to run out with my daughter get her a Benadryl and something she could eat. When I got back my food was cold and I couldn’t enjoy my food with my family. When we got the ticket, they charged us for the plate my daughter ordered. We asked for it to be removed, and she said she couldn’t because her step father ate a rib and she ate a rib. We asked to speak to the manager, and the waitress said the manager was busy but she could take half off. I asked to speak to someone else, and she got the manager. The manager explained she thought I meant sesame seeds, and took the item off.
Neither of them were apologetic and they treated us as they were annoyed by their dangerous mistake. I’ve never had a worst experience at a restaurant. Not to mention the service from the beginning was sub par.

I would normally give this place a 5 but it's obvious that the owners are different, the food taste different and the amount of shrimp and meat are very small compared to the previous owners and what I'm accustomed to. I've been going here for decades but I think I'll change to empress of china. Hope they haven't changed ownership

This is not the same china doll i remember, I ordered the empress lo-mein and it was horrible the taste of it was horrible, I don’t remember it ever tasting like this , on top of that the customer service is terrible I will never go back to this place only thing was good was the Cho Cho

When you first walk in, you might wonder what you’re walking into, but I have to say this is some of the best Chinese food in the city. Their crab Rangoon is easily the best, it’s just so good. Although we often do takeout, and a lot of people do which is why the front lobby area is mostly for takeout, we’ve sat in several times. We have great service when we come, we often get Miss Theresa. Great family, friendly atmosphere.

We were there yesterday, Dec 27, I had Hot& Sour soup & order of egg rolls. My husband had #3 Bell Pepper & Steak with fried rice. We have been going to China Doll for years & it’s always good but this time the fried rice had no shrimp in it. Nothing! He was very Disappointed. We said nothing but may give up on going again. Servings are huge but this was not good.

Went to China Doll with my family tonight and service was horrible. After being seated for 15mins and never being acknowledged not even given a glass of water and watching 2 tables that came in after us being served, we decided to leave. But as we were leaving my father asked a lady who claimed to be the head waitress what was the issue in the restaurant tonight that we couldn’t get service and she replied oh we’re busy we have a party of 30 people while the other young man laughed as if it was funny and it was nothing to them that we were walking out. We frequently go to this restaurant normally take out but after tonight we won’t be back. Being one of the most popular restaurants on the West Bank you would think the service would be better. The new management and staff is horrible. No care in the world about customer service or satisfaction just rude service or lack there of. And to top it off we weren’t the only ones to walk out after leaving and going to another restaurant we found ourselves meeting another family that was there waiting before us that also never got service and walked out.Do better China Doll but we won’t be back to see it.
