I grew up on this place and was excited to see that they opened a location on the West Bank when I was in the neighborhood. The shrimp and hot sausage poboys did not disappoint and were both exactly what I remembered. Still some of the best poboys in the city if you’re not looking for the frills and atmosphere of the tourist joints. Everyone was friendly and the bread and ingredients were all fresh and delicious. A great option for a little picnic in the park or to bring home for some Friday night takeout.

Use to love the food. Moved to Harvey and was ready to place an order. I was told immediately $15.99 for a chicken drummette plate??? No chicken is that good from a corner store!!!!

As a regular, I have no complaints. Good food & good people... actually, I do have a complaint. The fries aren't salty enough.

I was excited about my breakfast until I saw how they prepare their cheese grits. They cut a single thin slice of American cheese and layer the cheese in the center of the grits. They didn't bother to mix it. They didn't add salt or butter either. The croissant was stale.

Food & fun .... STUPID name but GOOD food!!!!!! Since they are like 1 minute from my home, it's an easy choice. The BAD part is they close early!! 2pm!! Sometimes I don't eat till after 4pm for the entire day!!! ‍ oh well!! Happy the sandwiches I've gotten so far, reheated pretty good! I have ordered the cheeseburger po-boy and the large hot (temp wise) roast beef with Swiss cheese on french and a small french fries. The cheeseburger on french was 2 single burger patties on good French bread. Not sure whose but it reminds me of Lidenheiners. I loved a good CB on Fr as a kid and this was pretty close!! The hamburger meat was good and wasn't full of junk like fillers and gristle and crap, which made me very happy. The large Roast beef po-boy is also very tasty! The roast beef is not full of fillers and gristle & stuff like that. Just enough sloppiness with the gravy to need lots of napkins and you can say it was a sloppy good mess!!! The 2 ladies that work in the deli are super nice and very helpful. *Helpful HINT* if u go into order, there is a kiosk computer screen. SUPER EASY to use thats how you place your order....the ladies will help young you get stuck. You can also call in your order BEFORE 1:45p as the CLOSE promptly at 2:00p

When Danny & Clyde first opened at this location I was happy to see them reopen back on the westbank awesome Shrimp Poboys it was good. Then every Friday I would go to get my Shrimp Poboys and deli was closed week after week they said employee issues went on for months. I was planning to go get a Poboy I called to see if deli was open. No one is answering the phone! This place is losing money when you have good food but deli never open.

Okay, a po-boy shop in a gas station? I've seen some really good food come out of gas stations and all I can tell you, it's a restaurant that happens to sell gas! The sandwiches were really good. I had the club and my wife had the ham and roast beef. The bread was spot on old New Orleans french bread and the food was very good. The sandwiches were over stuffed and very tasty. We had a good 15 minute wait but only to find out that one of their hands did not show. There are several tables to sit and all were clean and well maintained (no chipped tops or rocking chairs). If you are looking for a lunch spot that you will go back to, try Danny & Clyde's in Harvey. I don't think you'll be disappointed.
