Some of my favorite dishes include the Wonton Noodle Soup, Salt and Pepper Chicken Wings, Chicken Lettuce Wrap, and Beef Chow Fun. The owner is super friendly! If you're familiar with Hong Minh Restaurant, it's the same family. The owner mentioned that he was planning on expanding to include his family's popular roasted duck, pork and chicken, but didn't give a specific timetable. If that's what you are looking for, make sure you call ahead and see if it's on their menu yet.

Today was my first time at Hawaii City, but I will be back. If you liked Hong Minh, you will like this restaurant. After Hong Minh was sold, the family recently opened Hawaii City with basically the same menu except the roasted duck and pork. Try it you won’t be disappointed in the food and the service!

food here is excellent and fast. i ordered to go few times and they are very accommadating even when near closing time. the salted fish and chicken fried rice is really good and the salt and pepper calamari tasted great, very tender on the inside. highly recommended.
